All through college I wanted to turn my 242 into a car like this. Of course I had no money and the parents would probably have been somewhat 'dismayed'. It was formerly Grandma's car after all and the education bills were getting very pricey. Priorities ...Priorities...

I'm going through a similar caveat. Bought a 1987 E30 5-speed 325is Coupe and dreams of turning in to a specE30 or something of a rally car have faded slowly as adult priorities are beginning to take shape. But you know what, it'll pay off for both of us, I'm sure of it.

There used to be a sweet Volvo 240 that had been rally prepped for endurance drives for sale on CL nearby where I live. Sold quickly though.
Anyways, all I've done to my E30 is put some cross hair tape on my lights. Now it's a budget rally car... at least in my eyes it is. Picture of it on my blog header if you're interested: http://www.alexotics.blogspot.com

Thank you for the video. One of my courses was down a gravel road on the edge of town...I drove somewhat like that as often as possible. Open diffs made life so difficult...
